After downloading and unzipping the client file, OpenRctClient-X_Y_Z.zip,
I end up with a directory OpenRctClient-X_Y_Z that contains many files. In
that directory, I cannot find the rct.jar file in order to run the client.
Why can't I find it?

After you have downloaded the OpenRctClient-X_Y_Z.zip file, and you are about
to unzip it, make sure that you only unzip OpenRctClient-_X_Y_Z.zip file and
NOT the rct.jar file, which is included in OpenRctClient-X_Y_Z.zip.

I am getting the following error message while starting the client: "You do not have the required
java version installed"

Create a shortcut to the rct.jar file. Then edit the shortcut properties by right clicking on the rct.jar shortcut and selecting "Properties". Then add at the end of the Target field "--no-test" without the quote. [ VIEW ]
